The awakening of the spirit is a profound experience that is central to many religions and cultures.  The modern new age movement draws from the philosophies of many ancient religions and has its core in the transcendent beliefs of the traditions of many of the older societies.

Astrology teaches that each person chooses to be born in their present form and has predispositions that are designed to assist that entity in their longer term spiritual awakening and growth.   Each aspect is a tool or a challenge to further specific Karmic lessons that the individual needs to learn in order to progress spiritually.  

In Buddhism, the ultimate state of being is reached at the state of Nirvana, where the being has completed their lessons and may become one with the universe or may instead elect to be reborn in order to assist other spiritual beings along the path to awareness.

There are many who believe that the great teachers of the world, such as Buddha, Mohammed and Christ are actually elevated beings who have chosen to bring their messages and teachings to those around them.   Interpretation is often left to the subscribers of the belief systems that are passed on in the wake of this knowledge.

It is often believed that true ascension, or the acts of an awakened master have great power.   There are many reports of mystical healers and others who have learned to channel their own personal energies to perform healing and miracles.   This is believed to be due to a perfected and enlightened understanding of the teacher’s own position within the universe and of the nature of the unique vessel which he travels through life in.

The Ascended master has a unified sense of being and exists in harmony with the environment he travels and is able to spiritually reach many others.   By assisting others in their growth and mastering their own ability to translate physical and psychic energy, the ascended ones often find themselves in a position to influence large numbers of seekers and to awaken those who are as yet unaware of the greater metaphysical reality of their being.

This site explores techniques, philosophies and various tools which are reported to assist in both personal and spiritual growth.    While the paths are many, the destination and desired goal is the same.   By learning to live in harmony with our planet and the journeyers who travel alongside us in our unique place in this universe it is hoped that as a species we will master the lessons that each of us are grappling with as individuals and as a collective group of travelers.
